From concept to creation
Veyonce is a female tattoo artist working from her own private studio in North West London, with five years of experience and a growing following of over 9,000 people on Instagram at @veyonceinkz. Her work speaks for itself, so the brief for this promo was simple: show it properly.
Nova Connects filmed and edited a short vertical promo video following one piece from start to finish.
The idea
Tattoo clients are trusting someone with something permanent. Before they book, they want to see the artist's style, how clean and calm the studio is, and what the finished piece actually looks like on skin. A gallery of healed photos shows the result. A video shows the experience.
So instead of a highlights reel, we told the story of a single back piece: an angel with spread wings, finished with flowing script.

How we shot it
The studio. We opened on the space itself, so people get a feel for where they'll be sitting.
The stencil. Close-ups of the blue linework going on, showing the planning behind the design.
The work. Tight shots of the machine, the shading and the detail in the wings, with wider shots of Veyonce at work.
The reveal. The finished piece, script and all, saved for the end so it lands.
We cut it vertically for Instagram Reels and TikTok, paced to music, and finished on a clear call to action to follow @veyonceinkz.

The result
A 34-second promo that does what a portfolio grid can't: it shows the care, the process and the finished work in one go. It gives Veyonce a piece of content she can pin to her profile, use in adverts and send to anyone asking what a session with her is like.
